Practice Details

Mediations – Half Day 3 Hours Minimum | Full Day 6 Hours Minimum Rates:
  • 2 Party Case: $250 per hour per party
  • 3 or 4 Party Case: $275 per hour per party
The mediation fee is calculated based on the hourly billing rate as detailed above including any pre-mediation preparation time and post-mediation follow-up time spent on the matter. Note: we do not charge any administrative, scheduling, or rescheduling fees.

Non-Binding Arbitration -
  • $250 per party per hour
Arbitration -
  • Party appointed arbitrator or umpire in a three person panel arbitration $450 per hour

Meditation Cancellation Fee

If the mediation is canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours prior to the Noticed conference, each party will be billed for one hour. Please note that for us to remain neutral, it is our policy to bill all parties equally for their portion of our minimum fees regardless of which party cancels a session or why it was canceled, even if it is being rescheduled, has settled, or one side is still willing to move forward.

Curtis Hutchens created CHMediation in 2011 to assist insureds, claimants, and their attorneys to decide whether to defend, prosecute or settle lawsuits prior to trial. He developed the skills necessary to be an effective mediator as a civil trial attorney, Claims Counsel for Nationwide Insurance, and Chief claims Counsel for Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
